On the 27th/ 29th August 2016 we are all donning the lycra to tackle the UK’s most famous long distance cycle route, setting off from Whitehaven,  on the Irish Sea coast and cycling across the breadth of the country. A 140 mile (227 km) route, with about 4500 metres (over 14,500 feet) of climbing to be done..... All this to raise some cash for a well deserving charity.
