Hey Everyone! So today I've done the jump!! :) Went really well and it was great! Jumped from 15,000ft!! :D x
thanks for the donations everyone! keep sharing on twitter and facebook - as much as possible needs to be raised for our heroes, especially Sam! xx
So Booths supermarket in Poulton have been AMAZING. They are still collecting but so far, people in Poulton have given £497 into the Sky Dive for Sam buckets! Thank you all so so much! :) all cash donations will be announced either just before or in the week after the sky dive takes place. Thanks, Poppy x
Also, gift aid is at NO EXTRA COST to yourselves. If you include your full address then you are able to get gift aid for this. I'm not sure how it all works but I think it's something to do with tax payers, as it is a scheme that has been set up to allow charities to recieve extra money :) Thanks everyone, Poppy x
Thank You so much to everyone for all the support! Big thanks to Booths supermarket in Poulton, as they have been collecting money since Friday. So far, there is around £480 but I haven't finished counting and there will be more to come as they're carrying it on until this Friday! Amazed at how much support everyone has given - I would like to think that Sam would be so proud of each one of you :) Thanks again everyone! Poppy x
hey everyone! hope everyone is having a drink for Sam today, as he'll be partying away with the other angels to celebrate his 22nd birthday. it's only 3 weeks until 8th June, which is when the sky dive will be taking place up at Black Knights parachuting centre near Lancaster. my training starts at 8am but the time of dive won't be definite until the day! If anybody would like to be there to watch and support me, then please let me (Poppy Blundell) know on facebook! :) thanks everyone! keep on sharing! Poppy x
Hi everyone,
I'm going to be taking part in a sky dive, in memory of Sam Flint-Broughton, a Fusilier who was killed in Afghanistan on April 30th 2013, when he was just 21 years old.
Sam was a loyal, funny, courageous, strong and was always willing to help people out in anyway he could, or at least put a smile on their face!
Sam has inspired so many people, which is why I want to give something back, by doing a sky dive in aid of Help for Heroes.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you! :)
