We at Santander have selected Alzheimer’s Society as our Charity Partner. Our ambition is to become the best dementia friendly bank in the UK and raise much needed funds.

Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and there is currently no cure. Alzheimer’s Society is the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today.

By taking part in the On Line Pet Show we can help the charity to achieve a world without dementia.

Open to any pet, and you can enter as many categories as you like with as many different pets and as many entries. Please ask family and friends if they would also like to enter their pets in support of Alzheimer’s Society.

Each entry into a category is £2, or 6 entries for £10.

In 2014 it was reported that there were over 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK. Of these, approximately, 42,000 are people with young onset dementia, which affects people under the age of 65.

It is estimated that the number of people living with dementia in the UK by 2021 will rise to over 1million.
