We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
I decided to start running at the end of last year to lose weight after having a baby in September and decided to set myself the challenge of completing the GNR and wanted to raise money for an amazing charity.

Great Ormond Street opened the UK's first leukemia research unit and have lead international clinical trials which mean over 70% of today's children with cancer can live a life free from disease.
They have also developed the very first heart-lung bypass machine to allow open-heart surgery in children.

Great Ormond Street needs to raise over £50 million each year to provide care and give hope to sick children and their families so please donate whatever you can!

Thank you! :)

Here’s how your fundraising could help:
-£100 could pay for 10 nights
upkeep for one of our parent accommodation
rooms. When children are poorly, they just
want to be close to mum and dad.
-£360 could pay for three flow meters,
helping to regulate the flow of oxygen and
air to babies and children.
-£798 could pay for a wheelchair
and its accessories.
-£2,315 could pay for pain relief
syringe pumps. They provide continuous
pain relief medication to the children in
cardiac intensive care.

About the charity

We fundraise to enhance Great Ormond Street Hospital’s ability to transform the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Donations help to fund advanced medical equipment, child and family support services, pioneering research and rebuilding and refurbishment.
