GREAT NORTH RUN 2012

What seemed a good idea at the time (wine influenced) and a way of marking my 40th birthday is now reality. The wine has gone, replaced by energy drinks and training runs. Many miles have now been pounded, many muscles have ached and the big day draws ever nearer. 9 months of training will hopefully help me cross the line in one piece

So this is the bit where you can help. I am doing the run in memory of my mother in law, Brenda, who sadly passed away due to cancer last November. I also want to raise funds for the Butterwick Hospice who gave Brenda and our family fantastic support and made Brenda's last couple of years a happier time. We still miss her every day.
