Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit this page in loving memory of Richard Pilditch.
Richard sadly passed away on 5th November 2012 after losing a fight with cancer, which spanned several decades of his life.
At just 26 years old, Richard was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Having a life threatening illness at such a young age is pretty grim and at the time, it felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. It would have been wonderful to have a charity like The Willow Foundation around then, which gives you something nice to look forward to during the awful treatment.
However, friends and Janette got him through it - they were always there to meet up in the pub to have a good time and help him through those dark days.
Unfortunatley cancer reared its ugly head twice more, as well as a whole host of other life threatening illnesses - there were too many to mention. But Richard was always ready for a laugh, always ready to go out and party and generally enjoy life to the full. He never moaned or complained about being ill, but just got on with it.
He was generous to a fault, very funny and loved entertaining people with his stories.
So please dig deep and donate now to a charity that makes a huge difference for young adults who don't have much and are battling serious health problems.
