Hello, thanks for taking time to visit my page. I have made this page because I'm doing a skydive to help fund a foundation very close to my heart & ultimately to help raise awareness for myocarditis, otherwise known as the sudden death syndrome.

Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle. There are various causes but it is usually caused by a virus. Depending on the cause and severity, symptoms and possible problems can range from no symptoms at all, to life threatening heart failure. 

Unfortunatly, my close friend passed away from myocarditis in July of 2013. Alexander Jansons, or Janny as most of his friends would call him, was without doubt the kindest, most idyllic & outgoing person you could ever meet and was a massive part of all of our lives. 

We was all very concerned when we discovered that there was hardly any awareness of myocarditis at all, so this is the reason that the Alexander Jansons Foundation was put together.
