As many of you will know running is not my favourite thing and my natural fitness level is not what it once was! This made me think the Marathon was a great personal challenge, allowing me to get fit in the process.

When considering which charity to support I discovered Make a Wish who really make a difference for terminally ill children and their families.

Make-A-Wish aims to grant 1,000 wishes per year and to do this we need YOUR help. Even the smallest donation goes a long way and is used to continue their vital work.

Yesterday I completed my first 13 mile run with T-Bone and believe be the hard workI has only just begun!
