Story
Thank you for visiting my Sheffield 10K Just Giving page in support of the Sheffield Scanner.
On 24 September I’ll be taking part in the Run for All Sheffield 10K as part of the University of Sheffield team. We’re raising funds for the University’s £2 million campaign to bring an MRI-PET scanning facility to Sheffield, the first of its kind in Yorkshire.
More information about the Sheffield Scanner can be found at www.sheffield.ac.uk/sheffieldscanner
I am very pleased to be on the team. I am a regular Park Runner, and it is nice to do something for such a good cause - hopefully it will inspire to a PB, though at my age and on current form that will be a little miracle!
We’ll be among thousands of runners who’ll descend on the city’s streets on 24th September. We’ll start in Arundel Gate in the heart of the city and continue on a journey along Charter Row and along Ecclesall Road, before skirting the edges of Endcliffe Park. The route continues along Riverdale Road, along Endcliffe Vale Road, past the Endcliffe Village, then travels down Brocco Bank and back to an exciting city centre finish.

So please support us by donating to this fantastic cause which will have a terrific impact for everyone in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and beyond.
