The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Last year my wonderful 5 year old grand nephew,TJ, was diagnosed as autistic. He is so amazing and has influenced me to run for the National Autistic Society so that he and other children like him can have access to opportunities which would be denied without funding.

I am preparing for a challenge of a lifetime. My training started just over 3 months ago and now I can run 8 miles. Your encouragement is much needed to spur me on to achieve the 13.1 mile half marathon.

Training in the hills of Chingford is hard going, but I am determined to reach my goal and if I can raise some money for the National Autistic society it will make it all worthwhile.
