The Red Cross are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries working to reach people with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care. 

We hear of incredible resolve and courage in Ukraine and raising funds for the Red Cross is something that we can do to assist from afar. Our donations will be used to reach people in urgent need.

The 3-day solo walk will be on 2nd to 4th April 2022. I will walk round the entire Island of Raasay passing the extreme North, South, West and East points. Raasay is a sparsely populated island on the West coast of Scotland. 

The walk is 60 to 70 km and will be across moorland, beaches, hills, abandoned township paths and single track roads. I will be camping in remote locations and will complete the walk unaided.
