As most of you will know, our Mom recently passed away at the age of 55 having been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at just 49. Early onset Alzheimer's is a very aggressive form of the disease and sadly, we knew the day would come when Mom finally couldn't fight anymore, despite how stubborn she was but we still weren't quite ready for the hole that would be left by her passing.

Due to a need to fill the void and wanting to raise money to try and find a cure for that horrid disease, Me and my sister are going to attempt to cover the distance of Route 66 (2280 miles) by what would have been our Moms 56th birthday, 30th December this year. 

Anybody that knows us knows that we haven't exactly been covering many miles over the past few years, either on foot or 2 wheels, so this will be a massive challenge to get done but something we're determined to see through.

Any money you can give will be greatly appreciated and hopefully help to find a cure for Alzheimer's and Dementia so that nobody else has to struggle like our Mom did.
