Story
My name is Sara and I am a professional dog walker/pet sitter based in the Malton, North Yorkshire area.
I have decided to participate in not one, but TWO, events this year to raise money for guide dogs.
My first event 'The Yorkshire three peaks' takes place on June 24th 2017. The route covers 24.5 miles and climbs over 1500 metres. The allocated time to complete, Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (763m) and Inglebrough (723m) is 12 hours.
My second event is the 'Great North Run' on September 10th 2017. (The world's largest half marathon.)
The majority of my training for both events will be done whilst out walking/running on my daily dog walks!
