Hi! My name is Sai Villafuerte and I'm raising funds for Unicef UK and NEXTGen London, a Unicef initiative bringing together diverse groups of young professionals who are committed to helping transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.

Since 1946, with the inception of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Unicef has helped bring aid to children in the world's most dangerous places. My fundraiser hopes to contribute to this aid by raising vital awareness on the work of Unicef and NEXTGen London. This includes delivering essential services in areas of health, nutrition, immunisation, water and sanitation, as well as education and child protection.  

NEXTGen London, in particular, has focused its efforts on Syria since 2014 as per the state of the emergency. Currently over eight million Syrian children are in need of humanitarian aid and UNICEF are working around the clock to provide children with crucial and life-saving supplies such as medicine and psychological support.
