I'm running the 2012 Great North Run in memory of my awesome Grandma. She was an amazing women who was very active in her life. All that changed when she suffered from a stroke.

Living in Pakistan, my Grandma didn't have the same care and facilities UK residents do. Her quality of life and last few months on earth were difficult for her and the loved ones she left behind.

There wasn't a Stroke Association for her but raising money for this charity can help raise awareness and provide support for everyone who suffers in the process.

My Grandma was an amazing women and always put other's needs before her own. Now I'm going to put her first and raise money for Stroke Association, an amazing charity whish helps so many families come to terms with this awful disease.
