Together, as a family we are walking the family 10k in memory of our Dad and Grandad Gordon. Dad was diagnosed with mouth cancer in Feb 2017 and underwent a huge 12 hour operation and 6.5 weeks of radiotherapy that left him with life changing consequences. In May 2018, Dad was told his cancer had unknowingly spread to his liver and lungs and there was no curative treatment. Dad faced this so bravely and focused on getting as many things ready in the house for life without him as possible (crazy!) 30 days later Dad was crulely taken from us after a couple of days valiantly fighting sepsis in ITU. 

It was until Dad's death that the family found this charity. After looking through we realised there is so many support features that dad would of benefited from immensely so we want to make sure the charity has enough money to continue the work it does and it is more widely known about!
