I've never done a sponsored event before and compared to some people's feats this is nothing but my Aunty Tracey inspired me to do this when she completed it with her co-workers last year.

My Grumpy Grandad was amazing but stubborn and wouldn't willingly accept help. He passed away almost 10 years ago and the carers from Treetops Hospital showed him compassion and gave him dignity right to the very end.

We can never thank them enough but as a small gesture we can try to support them to keep up the fantastic work they do. As a family my Aunty Tracey, Cousin Izzi, my mum and me are going to do the starlight strut to raise some cash and have a good old natter about Grandad while we do it!

Mum and Izzi are doing the 5km and somehow I've let my crazy Aunty talk me into the 10km!

Anything you can give however small would be greatly appreciated! I'm aiming high as that is what Grumpy wanted us all to do!
