lonDONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made it round in 5 hours 20 minutes and 09 seconds. It was greulling, particularly from mile 20 when my knees bacame painful, but I survived and crossed the finish line, an emotional moment! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for donating, I feel very proud to have had your support and to have raised so much for Naomi House.

 

Well here I am 1 day 18 hours before the start. I can't believe the time has gone by so quickly!  I feel absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really excited about running and just want to get to the start line now!

This will be my first marathon, I found out I had a place just before Christmas, promptly caught a cold which developed into a chest infection and then it snowed and I couldn't get out and run!

Now I'm counting down to the BIG day! I have completed my longest run before the marathon 21 (and a bit) miles and I'm still on target. I ran the Reading Half Marathon in a personal best time of 2hrs 12 min 51 sec, which has boosted my confidence in getting a decent time for London (fingers crossed).

Getting out and running 5 days a week is a real test of my endurance, so PLEASE help to keep up my motivation by donating to this worthy cause.
