In a moment of madness I agreed with a friend to take part in the Great North Run having never run anywhere in my life - even at school! It seemed a good time to challenge myself again, after the Great Wall of China Trek, and to try and raise more funds for the Alzheimer's Society, in memory of my father Geoffrey, who suffered with and died from this terrible condition.

It would be fantastic if you could support me in raising funds for the Society's invaluable work for dementia sufferers and their families.
