On 21st March 2016, my brother Kyle, sadly passed away after a 7 month battle with leukaemia at the age of 19. Although Kyles illness wasn't terminal, he unexpectedly passed away of organ failure due to a combination of the cancerous cells and his treatment taking its toll on his body. Kyle was extremely positive, and always spoke of all the money he would raise to help others once he was better.
The Teenage Cancer Trust provided Kyle with emotional and physical support, and also helped to fund the purchase of new technology in the hope of finding a cure for Cancer.
In honour of Kyle, I want to raise as much money as possible to ensure that other teenagers lives don't end as tragically as Kyle did, and also to ensure that others get the same emotional and physical support.
My first event to raise money will be on 14th May (details above), and will continue to create/ enter a multitude of events to ensure that the Teenage Cancer Trust have enough money to keep providing the same level of support they gave Kyle, and also to continue to be able to carry out research to find a cure.
