Story

I was diagnosed with this type of arthritis 5 years ago and swimming is key in maintaining my physical and mental health. Getting the right diagnosis, advice and treatment as early as possible is so important. NASS plays a vital role in campaigning, supporting and providing up to date, evidence based advice and information, empowering people with axial SpA.

Sink or swim... Arthritis got me back in the pool, I have always loved swimming and more recently I have developed a love for longer distances in open water. The Scilly Swim Challenge is a circuit of the 6 main Scilly Isles. A total of 15km swimming and 10km walking which we aim to complete in one day. Hoping the weather will be kind!
