Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
In July 2005 I will be taking part in a trek across the Hindu Kush Mountains over harsh terrain and difficult conditions, climbing over hundreds of metres at high altitude.
Other volunteers and I are doing this to raise funds for the Friends of The Citizens Foundation (FTCF), the UK fundraising arm of The Citizens Foundation, a privately funded and managed not-for-profit organisation incorporated in 1995 aiming to build and run 1,000 shools in the poorest and disadvantaged areas of Pakistan - to date they have 270 schools running and educate 30,000 children.
Personally, this trek will be real test of strength and determination, however an almost equal challenge is to raise a minimum of £2,000 to support The Citizens Foundation to build and run more schools and to reach more disadvantaged children in Pakistan. I have personally pledged £250, can you please help me to help The Citizens Foundation do it's sterling work and reach the minimum target of £2,000.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Friends Of The Citizens Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
