Story
I am climbing Ben Nevis on the 10th of June 2017 as part of an organised event to raise funds for the activity of geocaching (https://www.geocaching.com/guide/).
There is an event called a 'Mega' to be held in Aberdeenshire in 2019, which looks to attract people from all over the UK (and the world) to visit this area and participate in this activity. The committee for this event has decided to raise money by organising a climb of Ben Nevis.
I am conscious of the fact that not everybody would wish to donate money to this type of cause and, therefore, I have decided to try and raise money for Macmillan at the same time.
Before this year, I had never climbed anything higher than Bennachie, so this is a fairly substantial personal challenge - I really appreciate any donations, no matter how small, that you can make to this cause.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan. Without people doing events, running marathons, climbing mountains, and donating in all the other ways that you can, Macmillan wouldn’t exist. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
