Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 9th August to the 15th August 2015 we intend to cycle from Blackpool Tower to the Eiffel Tower in Paris in the memory of our good friend Stuart Scott.  Known as Scotty by his friends.

Scotty was a Father & Husband who at the age of 50 (2012) started with earache followed by toothache whilst on holiday in France.  After returning home and having tests he was diagnosed with throat cancer which he fought very bravely untill sadly he passed away on 31st March 2015, just 3 days before his 53rd birthday.

We met Scotty at Warrington Sub Aqua Diving club many years ago. He was a larger than life character full of fun and mischeif who lived life to the full.  He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.  He was one of the good guys.

We (friends from the diving club) have decided to cycle "tower to tower" in his memory & to raise much needed funds for the St Johns Hospice in Doncaster that cared for Scotty and his family.

Hopefully you are able to donate to this worthwhile cause by using this just giving page & we would like to thank you for your support.

Rest in Peace Scotty.
