South Down's Way Challenge · 17 June 2017

We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

On Saturday 17 June I will be riding with my friend Mark Holding across the South Downs between Winchester and Eastbourne in just a day to raise money for two charities - Chestnut Tree House Hospice and Crohn's & Colitis UK

But what is already a tough challenge to complete is going to be made even harder by chronic health conditions that we both live with.

Mark have ankylosing spondylitis (AS), Crohn’s disease and psoriasis, while I have ulcerative colitis.

These conditions cause us both pain and extreme fatigue which has made training more difficult.
