For the first time, Millbank staff are participating in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk which is a 26 mile walking marathon.  We are raising money for VSA and more specifically Millbank House.  I've given some more details below about my chosen charity and why you should support me!

Who are VSA?: "Based in Aberdeen, VSA is the city's major social care charity.  VSA has grown since 1870 from charities that operated with Voluntary Service Aberdeen, combining them to provide even better care and value for the local community today."

And what does Millbank House do? Well in a nut-shell:  "Millbank House provides long-term residential placements and 24-hour support for 18 adults with on-going and enduring mental health problems."

The money raised through fund raising goes towards many things such as:

• Day trips away
• Pizza nights
• Buys service user Christmas Presents

Without fund raising the Service Users would not be able to get any of these things that many of us take for granted.
