Here at Bridge to Health we have been touched by Isabelle’s story. Isabelle was briefly a patient of ours seeking help for neck pain. After a difficult couple of years, 17 year old Isabelle was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer – epithelioid hemangioendothelioma or EHE. After a brave fight against this devastating disease, Isabelle sadly passed away in February 2018. EHE is a rare vascular tumour than can arise anywhere in the body. It is unpredictable and can become aggressive with no warning. There is no known cause and no cure.Unfortunately, very rare cancer research receives no funding from governments and almost zero from big cancer charities. EHE Rare Cancer Charity is fighting back by funding research for a cure and providing invaluable support to patients and families.

EHERCC supports EHE rare cancer patients, raises funds for critical research, and promotes EHE awareness. We help those with EHE while funding research to understand and ultimately defeat EHE, because people with rare cancers should not feel forgotten. We are determined to ensure they are not.
