Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
At the tender age of just 33 Angela Chamberlain lost her battle with secondary breast cancer. Angela was one of the youngest people in Cardiff ever to be treated for Breast Cancer at just 21 year of age but she never once let Cancer keep her from leading a full and active life. She was a beautiful girl who adored life and loved her job as a local school teacher in Cardiff. Angela enjoyed going to the gym and she adored her friends and family.
Angela spent many years raising money for a range of Cancer charities during her short time with us and many people benefitted from her generosity and kindness. Her final weeks were spent at Holme Towers, the Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth where she received the most tremendous care from a fabulous team of medical staff and carers.
This outstanding facility incredibly operates from charity donations and lottery funding so, as Angela’s boyfriend I have set myself and a group of close friends the challenge of climbing to the summit of Ben Nevis this summer to help the Marie Curie Charity Fund. We are aiming to raise over £5000 through sponsorship so please pass on our internet link and details below to anyone who would like to help fight cancer and to support the Marie Curie Hospice in Cardiff.
Many Thanks for your support!
