Fundraising for Prospect Hospice
Story
James Towner (RCUK SSC Ltd. COO and old man with back problems) and Simon Perry (Head of HR and Payroll Service Delivery, and less old man with less back problems) will be running the Cancer UK 10km race on Sunday 17 October. They completed the Cricklade 10km last Sunday in the rather less than inspiring times of 57 and 47 minutes respectively and intend to "smash those times completely out of sight".
As some of you may know James is a Director and Trustee of the Prospect Hospice based in . He and Simon would like to raise as much money as possible to support this well known local charity. Serving more than 1,600 patients each year Prospect Hospice is the only provider of dedicated end of life care in our community, and has brought confidence, comfort and care to our patients and their families for thirty years. The scope of care is broader than you might expect: supporting patients in the purpose-built Hospice, in the , and more than ever in people's own homes. Available to all who need it, care is given freely, supported generously by people just like you.
