My friend Nikki, died in May from Breast Cancer at the age of forty after a six-year struggle. She was a genuinely amazing person, who lived life to the full. It wasn't easy to do so, but she had the support of an equally wonderful family and among other things, Lewis Manning Hospice.

I told her earlier this year I'd like to run my first half marathon and asked her to decide for me which charity to run for. This was her answer.
