We train amazing hearing dogs to transform the lives of deaf people

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The staff from Sound Advice Hearing have decided to take on the daunting 'Spires and Steeples' 26 mile challenge to raise money for two important charities close to our hearts: Cancer Research UK and Dogs for Deaf People. The challenge takes place on October 16th 2016 and starts at 8.30am. We are hoping to raise as much money as possible so your donation (however big or small) will be gratefully received.

Spires & Steeples Challenge

Are you ready to take the Challenge?

The Spires & Steeples Challenge has been a successful charity run/walk following the public footpaths and bridleways along the Arts & Heritage Trail. Since 2008 participants have been able to challenge themselves to complete the route whilst taking in the beautiful artworks, church architecture and the variety that is the Lincolnshire villages and countryside.

About the charity

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.
