Story

Staff at St Joseph's Primary are planning to walk over 12 miles to raise some money for the fantastic charity - The Nicola Murray Foundation.

The walk begins in the town of Grandtully, continues along the banks of the river Tay, through Aberfeldy and will finish in Kenmore.  Although a beautiful walk, it will prove a challenge for those involved and is therefore an ideal opportunity to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.

The Nicola Murray Foundation has been set up in the memory of Nicola Murray, she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in January 2010, she sadly died on 28th April 2010, less than 4 months later, aged 34. She requested that any fundraising in her name should benefit those with Ovarian cancer.

Caroline Turnbull (Nicola’s sister)  was a teacher at St Joseph's primary for a number of years and is a very close friend to all of us.  We know how hard she has worked to build up a charity that can really make a difference. Any donations to this charity are greatly appreciated and will help to make a difference.  If you would like more information on the Nicola Murray Foundation then visit www.nicola-murray-foundation.org.uk
