Story

Dear All, it is with the heaviest and broken of hearts that myself and Carl have to write this post. After the most difficult 24 hours of our lives, our beautiful, caring, most loving mom Susan passed away with our dad Robert at her side from Covid-19 at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

We are heartbroken that she has left us and how fast this has happened. Neither myself or Carl were able to be with her due to the situation and for that, we are devastated.
She was our mom and wife first, but was also the best Aunty, Cousin, mother in-law, sister, niece and friend but most of all, Nanny to Ellie, George and Edward. We are already broken without her.

We want nothing more than for people to learn from this and do as you are told to keep yourselves safe! At the moment we are unsure if we will be able to have a funeral, but we will be celebrating her life as soon as the world is safe again and we would love nothing more than for as many of her friends and family to join us when we can do that!

And to all the NHS staff working through this, you are amazing!! A sad mix of fate, my mom was nursed by the same nurse that nursed my Aunty Sheila a few weeks ago on ward 516, and she has truly touched my heart with her kindness!
