Story

Marian Lennon bravely fought her battle against Ovarian Cancer but was diagnosed late so had little chance of overcoming the odds. One woman dies every two hours in the UK. Please donate to Ovarian Cancer Action so that it can be diagnosed early and beaten so that families across the UK can continue to enjoy their lives together with their sisters, daughers, aunts, mums and friends.

Marian was the first to add her support to a worthy cause please remember her memory by adding your support. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. So please dig deep and donate now.

A tribute from her nephew James

M
arian was the kindest person we have ever known
Angel she was in training
Rainy day she made OK
I am lost without her
Air she breathed made her happy around us
Never will she leave our sad hearts

Learning from her was hard and fun!
Ending is only the beginning
Now she is at peace
New life with her mother
One person who will never change in our hearts
Name will never be forgotten in our lives

Ovarian cancer is the biggest gynaecological killer in the UK claiming the life of a woman every 2 hours. Many women still do not know the symptoms leading to late diagnosis. We are determined to drive up survival rates by funding world-class research into causes, treatments and prevention.
