Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2017 I will be taking on the challenge of a lifetime. I will be cycling from Northern Ireland to Turkey! This is a trip of well over 3,000 miles and will take me approximately 6 weeks to complete. My journey is self supported, meaning I'll be carrying everything I need with me on the bike and will camp out to save funds. I'm cycling through Ireland, France, Italy, Greece and Turkey.
So why am I doing this? I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to support the work of Open Doors. Open Doors is an international ministry that serves persecuted Christians and churches worldwide. This includes the Middle East.
Through churches and partner organisations in Syria and Iraq, Christians have received Bibles, training, relief aid and trauma care. In the past year alone, over 27,000 families have been sustained by monthly relief packs. Our emergency supplies have become a symbol of God's hope.
Follow my progress on FaceBook where I'll post daily photos and videos. "Like" the Open Doors U.K. And Ireland Facebook page for regular updates
Will you donate £5 to get me a mile on my journey? This means that I hope to raise £15,000 in total.
Please help me to fundraise to support Christians for whom living out their faith means facing beatings, imprisonment, discrimination and abuse, or being forced to leave their homes.
