On 30th December, 2015, Dad was diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer. With much hope and a good prognosis, Dad underwent an intense course of treatment, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Dad was as tough as the treatment and looked to be winning with the tumour appearing to have gone. 

On 30th June, 2016, six months to the day, Dad unexpectedly and very suddenly, suffered a major hemorrhage of the aorta and sadly passed away. 

In memory of Dad, we have set up this Just Giving page, so that we can continue to raise money for Cancer Research. We hope in time, further developments will be made into the treatment of Oesophageal Cancer so that families and friends do not suffer the loss we are all feeling. 

Our fight against Cancer continues for Samantha and now Dad too.
