Espresso Web go PINK! for 23rd October Cancer Awareness 2015
On the 23rd October 2015,
Espresso Web will be cycling over 150 miles to the well known town of Southport, wearing novelty pink items such as tutus, headbands and funky socks, the pink colours associated with breast cancer awareness.
Espresso Web (Middlesbrough) are showing support for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month and have changed the logo on their website to show their support . They have however, decided to do much more than this.
Starting at 08:00am on 23rd October the Espresso Web team, headed by the Pink Panther, will take it in turns to clock up the mileage, switching only when staff members become tired. The plan is to finish the bike ride before the office closes at 17:15pm, meaning each team member needs to achieve just over 20mph in order to achieve this. Cycling will stop only when the target mileage has been met; which, if a real bike was to be used, would land them at the doors of Karbon Web in Southport who are our digital marketing partners over in the North West.
Teaming up with their close business associates, Espresso Web have discovered some healthy competition to help make the fund raising event even more interesting. The bike ride itself will also be carried out by Karbon Web who are heading in the opposite direction, where both businesses will be competing to see who finishes in the fastest time. It’s all for a good cause and there are no prizes as of yet, although the losers may be asked to complete a nasty forfeit...
The Aim
The target for Espresso Web is to achieve a £1500 target, where all money raised will be donated to the Breast Cancer Care. £100 has already been donated by Espresso, meaning £1400 still needs to be found in order to reach their target.
A Just Giving page has been set up by Espresso in order to take donations, where the team is also inviting people down to their office on the day to come and egg them on. Preferably without eggs they must add!
Both offices will remain open and work will continue, as there will only ever be one team member out of action at a time.
ALL THAT IS LEFT TO SAY IS PLEASE DONATE WHATEVER YOU CAN IT ALL HELPS
