Story
Hi All.
In January 2017 I will be joining forces with three other family members Steven Clark, Derek Barsby and Keith McGinn in a week long jeep trek through the heart of India, travelling 2,400km in 7 days from Delhi to Goa helping to raise vital funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
You will all remember Stephen Sutton, an exceptional young man who made a huge impact as a Teenage Cancer Trust ambassador and fundraiser. To date Stephen’s Story has raised over £5.5 million for young people facing cancer. ... He was supported throughout his cancer experience by Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at The Royal Marsden Hospital opened in 2012. At present every young person they can support there's another they can't. Over the next 4 years they aim to raise at least £20 million to help every 13- 24 year old diagnosed with cancer. Hopefully or efforts will help towards the trust reaching its goal!
Between our team we are hoping to raise £4000 . If you would like to help us by donating we have set up a 'JustGiving' page. The trip is 100% self funded so every single penny raised will go to the TCT. We have set up a facebook page (Cricketers United) which shows our links to Just giving but also updates on our fundraising events
Please donate as much as you can to help young people who should have a full life ahead of them instead have to fight this devastating disease.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this email
