We support people with dementia in Scotland to make sure nobody faces dementia alone

Story

Stewart Black was diagnosed with Early Onset Vascular Dementia 7
years ago.

Over the last 4 and a half years Stewart supported Alzheimer Scotland in many
different ways, his mission was to show that people can live well with a
diagnosis and that people who are younger can also be diagnosed with dementia.

Stewart was the face of Dementia Friends in which he toured
Hospitals, businesses, organisations and community groups to spread that positive message - People can live well with dementia.

*****

As well as this Stewart was a keen fundraiser for the charity and was always present at as many events as he could manage to attend. He was always front and centre at the Forget Me Not Ball, present at the Memory Walks and also came up with some of his own ideas for fundraising including a lip sync video to his favourite song 'Sugar' by his favourite band Maroon 5!

*****

All donations made via this page will go towards supporting the work of Alzheimer Scotland, Something Stewart felt very strongly about having received support from the charity himself.

*****

On behalf of myself, our families & friends we want to thank you for taking the time to donate in loving memory of Stewart.
