Namaste!
Thank you for visiting my page! On September 27th I will be going to Nepal for 3 months on a development programme with Raleigh International. Raleigh inspires communities and young people around the world to create lasting change.
This is part of International Citizen Service (ICS), which brings together people to make a positive change in disadvantaged places where it is needed the most. Along with a few others from the UK, our aim is to work on community, youth and personal development through health, sanitation and hygiene issues within the community. We will conduct awareness through raising events, resource mapping, baseline surveys and much more in order to understand the needs of the community and attempt to find solutions to these.
On a side note, this money I am raising is used by International Service to continue the positive changes they are making across developing countries. You can check their amazing work here: http://www.volunteerics.org.
Although it will tough challenge to undertake, but I feel it's vital to gain experience of situations like this and cannot wait to make a difference!
