Working on a daily basis with preschool children who suffer or struggle with communication see first hand the benefits of how makaton can improve not only their communication but social skills and boost the childrens morale on learning and achieving.

Makaton is a language programme using signs and symbols to help people to communicate. It is designed to support spoken language and the signs and symbols are used with speech, in spoken word order. WithMakaton, children and adults can communicate straight away using signs and symbols. We also use facial expression, eye contact and body language to give as much information as possible.
