Some way or somehow we've all been or will be affected by cancer.

During my career in nursing, I helped many patients undergo surgery and treatments in a hope to regain their health. I cared for them if they lost their fight.

I've helped and supported friends and loved ones through their personal battles against the disease. Some have been fortunate and regained their health, others have not. The most recent being Jack, my Father-in-law who lost his battle just a few days ago!

I love riding my bike. So what better way to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause than 'Bike for Bobby'! Together with my friend and now cycling buddy Gill, who is recovering from breast cancer herself. We're taking on the challenge!
