On 30th May 2015, I will be running my first marathon in Stockholm in memory of my uncle, Carl Gripenstedt who passed away unexpectedly in January. 

Carl was a great entrepreneur with a passion for wellness and health; he created and ran several companies in Europe with a focus on Sports Centres and Fitness Clubs. It seems fitting therefore, to dedicate my first marathon to this inspirational man, who was taken from us too soon, in his native Sweden.

I will be contributing any sponsorship received to Centrepoint, the UK's leading charity for homeless young people and a charity close to Carl's heart.

My deepest love and sympathy goes out to my cousins, Thomas and Eva Gripenstedt, as well as their stepmother,Ullabritt and siblings Lovisa, Ebba and Elsa for their tragic loss of a loving husband and father.
