Story
Thank you for visiting our page.
We need your help to raise some money so we can help young autistic children reach their full potential. We're doing this in memory of Joe Noakes, who sadly left our family when he was just four.
Joe was severely autistic with a poor prognosis for future development. He started on an "ABA" programme to help him reach his full potential. The transformation in Joe was magical and dramatic. From being told he would never walk or talk, he turned into a mischievous, and determined little man who did both those things and so much more.
The trouble is that the programme can only be accessed privately which means it is inaccessible to many families who simply cannot afford it. We cannot imagine the frustration of knowing there is something tangible and evidenced that will significantly help your child but you cannot use it because of cost.
So, we've set ourselves the challenge of running a Half marathon to raise money and awareness the Joe Noakes trust, which supports and enables pre-school aged children on the autistic spectrum to access the ABA programme.
Your support and donations would be very much appreciated and would go towards a fantastic cause. Further information on the charity and ABA can be found at www.thejoenoakestrust.org
Now if that isn't enough to convince you to donate, then there's a chance Tom and Alex will be running in fancy dress if we reach our fundraising goals:
£1000 raised = Dressed as Fairies
£1500 raised = TBC
£2000 raised = TBC
£5000 raised = TBC
Feel free to suggest a fancy dress outfit for one of our fundraising goals!
Thanks again for your support,
The Wasey Brothers and Rachel
