Story

We're a group of parents, both past and present, staff, children and friends from St Thomas Becket R.C Primary School and the Parish of Our Lady of The Annunciation Catholic Church in Addiscombe, Croydon.

On Christmas Eve 2015, one of our lovely pupils was diagnosed with a brain tumour so we want to raise as much money as possible to support the specialist Royal Marsden Hospital where he's being treated.

Every one of us has been affected by cancer, either directly or indirectly: it's a cruel disease that causes so much suffering to so many people and it strikes indiscriminately.  We all need to support cancer charities, so that one day this horrible disease will be a thing of the past.

Team Becket had just over 140 people on the 2016 Marsden March and we raised over £23,000.  This year our team has grown to 220 adults and children. With your help, who knows how much more we can raise on the 2017 March, in order to contribute to research and care for adults and children with cancer, along with support for their families.

Thank you for supporting Team Becket!

We raise money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
