Working with asbestos early in his working life meant that my Dad's life was stolen by a form of lung cancer called mesothelioma. At this point mesothelioma is incurable and we, as a family, had to watch my strong, independent Dad, who loved to travel become house bound and dependent on us. It was so hard to see him wither away, struggling with his breathing and suffering pain and discomfort. 

This summer I'll be walking 50km in memory of my Dad. Gareth sadly lost his Dad shortly after my Dad passed away and he is joining me on the walk to raise money for MND, another crappy thief of a disease. 

You know us so you know this will be a challenge and a half but we have many memories of our Dad's to keep us motivated. Any sponsorship you could give us would spur us on even more!
