Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  On the 20/21 of July we will be taking part in a 24 hour relay race.   Our team of four consists of Mike, Beth, Phil & Danielle.  We are anticipating we will each be running 5 or 6 laps of the 6.2 mile course throughout the 24 hours, which will total between 31 and 37 miles of running per team member.  

As this is such a huge challenge for us all, we'd like to make this even more worthwhile by raising some funds towards a bladder scanner for the transplant clinic based at UHW.  By purchasing this piece of equipment it will speed up and improve the care that the team are able to provide for over 1,000 transplant patients that visit he clinic.  The team will be able to fully assess patients in the clinic, where at present they sometimes have to admit people to do investigations.  

If you are able to make a donation towards the cause, helping us make this piece of equipment become a reality for all the patients and the fantastic team of staff at the transplant & nephrology department we'd be hugely grateful!
