Isabella was a funny, caring and beautiful girl. She loved singing, dress up as a princess, dancing, spending time with her friends. She loved school. 

At the age of 3, she was diagnosed with a terminal cancer in the brain stem called DIPG. She lived for 28 months. 3 rounds of radiotheraphy and two chemotheraphy have kept her alive for that time. Until the tumour spread all over and nothing else could be done. 

She was treated twice at the Christie during her last year of life at the just newly opened Proton Beam Theraphy Centre. Sadly, she passed away in October 2019 at the age of 5. 

In her memory, a fund has been created at the Christies to support research for children affected by cancer and the Teenage and Young Adult.

The lost of Isabella has touched forever her parents and close relatives as well as her friends and all those who were fortunate to meet her: she will always be remember as a true princess. 

"Her laugh was contagious, her heart was so pure and kind. Now she is just an angel in heaven and a bright star in the sky".

This is the 6th year I take part at the Walk of Hope: in the past I walked with the hope my daughter would have survived cancer, now in her memory and for all children battling against cancer and for those who will be in this battle in their life.
