We Motivate, Educate & Inspire to improve health & wellbeing in the UK

Story

Karen and myself are again doing the Wigan 10k. We are raising funds for Wigan Warriors Community Foundation this year. Most people know about the work the CF do with schools and rugby clubs via the summer camps etc. The foundation also do lots of other things too. They run Rugby Memories, a fantastic group for people living with dementia. They run moving memories, a group to inspire people’s health and well being. Plus there are yoga and meditation groups to name but a few. I will be running the 10k and also doing it again as I push Karen for another 10k in her wheelchair (walking). Any support that you can give us to help the charity will be massively appreciated.

Staff, ex-players, and a team of amazing supporters will embark on a fundraising mission to raise vital funds for the community foundation.

All funds raised will directly support their work in the community; including Rugby League development for all, health and wellbeing programmes for schools and community groups, and programmes to improve the career prospects of young people and adults.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.   Peter & Karen xx
