Story

On the 6th September 2014 at 16.41PM our beautiful baby boy Teddy made his way into the world, he was the image of his Daddy with a mop of dark hair, it has to be said (and of course I'm biased) we have been blessed with beautiful babies...
Our little soldier had an epic adventure, we had some good weeks and we had some awful weeks but our little boy dug in his heels and refused to give up fighting.

Teddy was born on a Saturday afternoon and our brilliantly brave boy gave us 20 hours with him, 20 precious hours that we will forever cherish..
We got to hold our son, we got to tell him how much he was loved and his mummy got to sing him to sleep...
The Angels took him home on Sunday 7th September 2014.
Our lives have been forever changed and there will always be a huge piece of my heart missing..

Both of my babies have suffered and had to fight their way into the world down to a ridiculously rare condition that was diagnosed by the Fetal Medicine Unit.
Our gorgeous girl Hope is a miracle! she survived against the odds and is now 9, she's bold and beautiful and full of life !

Although we didn't get our happy ending this time we remain in awe of the work that the Fetal Medicine Unit at the Liverpool Women's Hospital do...
We had the most AMAZING medical team (They're like the Marvel Avengers of the NHS) without Professor Alfirevic, Mr Agarwaal and the fantastic midwives we wouldn't have made it as far as we did, I'm so glad we had them in our corner and I want to thank them for their continued support.

This year will bring it's own challenges and one of the biggest will be on 13th September.... In memory of our son Teddy and to raise some much needed funds for the Fetal Medicine Unit , Alongside my team mates Mark, Libby and Paul I will be participating in Tough Mudder.

Tough Mudder is a 12 mile muddy endurance assault course that is not for the faint hearted! I will be tear gassed, made to slide into skips of ice, jump through a ring of fire I will be pushed and pulled and trampled and stepped over and all in mountains and mountains of mud, as if all that wasn't bad enough they'll be electrocuting me before giving me a much needed pint at the end!
All the training, hard work and heartache will be worth it in the end when we smash our targets and can donate as much as we can to the Fetal Medicine Unit in Teddy's memory.

I know my boy is with me, he's in my head, he's in my heart and he's my strength that will push me through! With my boy looking down on us then I can't fail..

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story. Please dig deep and show your support by sharing our page.
if you can donate even just a small amount for an amazing fund that would be totally fantastic and very much appreciated..

Stolen from Tesco but it's very true! "Every Little Helps"

Thank you for your love and support,
